‘The Ceremony of Falling’
Solo Exhibition, Late Night Art

Rattlebag, Belfast
July 2025

This exhibition comes at a turning point, presenting both new and established works, exploring the idea of renewal after a period of perceived failure. Navigating disability within the last year, Hana is interested in accommodating inconsistencies, relinquishing the want for control.

These themes expand into her process of art making, focusing on experimentation instead of a strict plan for how a work needs to look or feel. The paintings carry their own inconsistencies, deliberately distorting perspectives and warping worlds, we start to piece together a temperamental terrain.

OPENING NIGHT

This exhibition opened along with the first iteration of re.mix.er - a new event night hosted by Rattlebag and Travi the native. Remixer is held on the first Thursday of the month to coincide with Late Night Art. We were thrilled with the turnout on Thursday night, with many people coming in to see the work - Thanks to everyone who came to visit!
